India is renowned for its diversity and culture of a wide variety of places. There are a lot of areas and famous tourist spots that one can witness. To have an experience of ethnicity, Indian culture, food, and historical antiques, heritage, traveling is the key. Here are some of the best places to visit in India that should be there on one’s bucket list for a have a perfect holiday
The Indian Himalayas
People’s love for mountains and having delightful moments this destination is a great choice. It starts from mountain beautiful scenic view, remarkable Buddhist monasteries, and can have a taste of Tibetan culture. To escape from busy lives and have a calm and relaxed experience, visit some of the top mountain areas under this region like Leh-Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and ‘The Queen of Hills’ Darjeeling. Have a fantastic view of the sunrise, colorful, vibrant monasteries.
The Golden Triangle
Another set of great places to plan for a holiday is the Golden Triangle. This triangle is of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Delhi can be the starting point to see some unique tourist spots like Qutub Minar, Red Fort, etc. and get to see the best of old Delhi the vibrancy that it reflects, then, Mesmerise with the beauty of Taj Mahal, Agra. Also, have the experience of ‘the pink city’ Jaipur and get the flavor of these places’ unique diversified foods. Even in Jaipur, the dream of people to have a hot air balloon experience can come true.
Uttarakhand
Love for nature, to witness the vibrancy and colorful essence of Mother Nature, this destination is a perfect one, along with an affordable budget. One of the most lavish paradise that it has is the Valley of flowers in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, but is not yet very popular but a fantastic place to have the long-lasting beautiful memories. The jaw-dropping beauty of not the only Valley of flowers and other Uttarakhand areas like Nainital, Mussoorie (a perfect honeymoon destination in India), Jim Corbett National parks, Rishikesh. Each of these places constitutes the land of Natural Beauty.
Lonavla
Especially to witness the monsoon and the journey towards Lonavla through road trips a fantastic experience. It is one of the most popular hill stations in Maharashtra’s Pune district. Beautiful climate, scenic view, and excellent spicy local food attract the tourists most.
Goa
When I’m compiling a list of best places to visit in India, how can I not include the most loved beach destination – Goa. Love for sea beach and to witness the blend of Indian culture with colonial Portugal. This is by far the most favorable destinations for young people and travelers in seek of entertainment. It is prevalent and is one of the most favorite destinations for friends’ trips. Still, nine the less, it has the most beautiful beaches, fantastic climate, adventurous sports, and architectural presence. Goa is always my favourite destination for holidays.
Varanasi
For people who love to visit spiritual places, then for them, this will the most favorable destination as Varanasi is undoubtedly known for being one of the holiest places in India. Here Ganga Arti is very famous and is one of the most prominent worship rituals that take place. Holy Ganga’s presence, the story of life and death is something that becomes an unforgettable memory for tourists.
Kerala
Kerala is one of the most exotic and best places to visit in India. To experience a tropical climate, Kerala is known for it. It is also known as ‘God’s own country’ in South India. A very relaxing place to have a break and is full of natural beauty, wildlife experience, and the backwaters with the sports and even the houseboats gives the tourist a great experience.
Kolkata
People’s love for literature, traditions, and food, this destination can be the ideal one. The fascinating heritage of Indian museums, ethnic monuments, and diversifies food availability sets the stage for people. It is an extravagant destination, especially for food lovers, as there are some best street foods, bengali cuisine beside the stark beauty of Howrah Bridge that the place has to offer.
