What do you need to make the easy evening snack – cheesy mushroom shots?
Let’s look at the ingredients that you need to prepare your easy evening snack:
- Button mushroom – 200 gm
- Capsicum – Half of a medium sized capsicum
- Onion – 1 medium size
- Green chili – 2 (Optional, if you like it spicy)
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Soya Sauce – 1 tsp
- Green Chili Sauce – 1 tsp
- Tomato Sauce – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cheese – 2 full slices (I used Amul sliced cheese; you can use Parmesan cheese also)
How to prepare your cheesy mushroom shots?
- Wash the mushrooms thoroughly to remove all the dirt and mud from them
- Dry the mushrooms using tissue paper
- Take out the stems of the button mushroom and keep it separate
- Clean the inner side of the button part, if needed, and make the button in shape of bowls
- Chop onions, capsicum, green chili and the mushroom stems
- Take a frying pan, pour 2 tbsp oil and wait till the oils is hot
- Add the chopped ingredients and sauté it till they are soft
- Add salt and sauté it for a couple of minutes
- Add soya, green chili and tomato sauce and mix thoroughly
- After the sauces are mixed thoroughly add 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, mix it well and switch off the gas
- Pour the sautéed mixture on the mushroom bowl and top it with chopped cheese
- Arrange these mushroom shots on a baking tray and bake it for 10 minutes at 150 degrees in an OTG or microwave oven
